Speaker 4 00:10:00 Anthony Wild. 2250 Plainfield Avenue North. I hope you guys have a nice summer. Speaker 0 00:10:05 Yes, you too. Begin as Speaker 4 00:10:06 Well to attend some meetings. I'm just wondering if we have any update, final update or you know, what's happening at the 800 Centennial Avenue. I know Steve Khan is the one who've been mostly keeping track, but I wonder if anybody had any further updates. Sure. Speaker 0 00:10:27 I'll Tim did you wanna make any comments? Speaker 5 00:10:30 Just on the, the progress is continuing on the site. The compaction is completed, where the building is going and where the parking lots are going. And they're working on Speaker 4 00:10:41 The, so they're building the warehouse Speaker 5 00:10:43 But they're, they're getting ready to build the Speaker 4 00:10:46 Warehouse. Warehouse. We Speaker 5 00:10:47 Started working on the footings and the site is in good shape that we're starting sifting through all the material and we start working on the firm hopefully by the end of this week Speaker 4 00:11:01 Because I, I saw some communication regarding the berm that Speaker 5 00:11:07 The resident there wrote unfortunately was missing for. Right. Speaker 4 00:11:10 Well I saw what was happening and they may have been planning to move that dirt, but then yeah, Speaker 5 00:11:16 I explained it to the, to the resident that he was missing. But I, I've been out there, out there, construction officials out there, an engineering inspector out there on a daily basis and everything's being done properly and it's gonna be done according to their approved plan. So Speaker 4 00:11:32 That's what I hope. Okay, thank you. You welcome. Speaker 0 00:11:35 Any comments question from the public at this time? Sure. Please come to the podium, state your name and address and you have three minutes. To name is Corey. I live Speaker 4 00:11:46 At 11 Water Speaker 0 00:11:47 Street in Thisaway. Sorry, excuse me. I couldn't hear your name. Speaker 6 00:11:53 11 Water Street in Piscataway. Speaker 7 00:11:56 Oh, okay. And I was just asking for your name. Speaker 6 00:11:58 Cora Epps. Speaker 7 00:11:59 Thank you Ms E. Speaker 6 00:12:01 My question is, can anyone tell me when they're gonna start on School Street that all of the streets around School Street has been done? They're working on School Street up the end. They did popular, they did Hanes but skipped over Water Street. Speaker 2 00:12:17 Okay. Next year. Speaker 6 00:12:19 Next year Speaker 2 00:12:21 We're finishing engineering design of that street. It's being done by our in-house staff. We were waiting for some Motil utility companies move their projecting, I believe it's funded award. It was funded for it and we're gonna move forward probably we're gonna put it out to bid probably by February of next year. Speaker 6 00:12:42 Okay. My second question, Speaker 2 00:12:44 Why honor it that we are gonna be mill payment, the cul-de-sac off of Water Street. I believe it's Sycamore. Is it Sycamore? Or, and then also the one on the school street. So we're gonna be doing those two this year. Speaker 7 00:12:58 Okay. Speaker 6 00:12:59 Okay. My second question, as you know, there is a ditch that runs in the back of Water Street. Yes. Speaker 2 00:13:06 It runs, it backs up what the residents referring to. There is a a 10 foot or 15 foot easement drainage layout that runs in the back there. And periodically DPW does go out there and clean it up and unfortunately somebody's dumping some leaves and grass clippings and, and a lot of brush back there sometimes. And that's what backs it up. So periodically, maybe twice a year we'll take a look at it as an even basis. Speaker 6 00:13:34 Can you tell me when they're gonna come and do it? 'cause I had had a fence up there to stop all of that debris from coming down 'cause I try and clean my part out. But someone, Speaker 2 00:13:45 So one of the, one of the neighbor, I don't know which one, but I gotta tell you, once we finish that road up, we're gonna be putting signs up in the back where the easements are, meaning denoting the easement Act Act out there. 'cause it's obviously, unfortunately some you're maybe a neighbor or two might be doing that. 'cause it's, it's not somebody parking their car and going in the backyards and dumping stuff in that. We're we're, we're gonna go in the back of that. I'll have Mr. Bey's gonna write a note to Mr. Sper public Works director and we'll have this division to look at that for you. Okay. Speaker 6 00:14:17 Thank you. You're Speaker 7 00:14:18 Welcome sir. Any other comments or questions from Do I have a motion to record? Oh Mr. Rus. Hey what the hell? How about you? 64, 70 30. So, huh? What number Agenda? I'm open to the public item number 12. Okay. Shoot. Where you been? Speaker 6 00:14:50 What late? Yes. Curtis Scrub 1750 West. I need to know the Alexander Park, I think I mentioned it to Franklin, was between Alexander Park and that house. There's that little bridge there. The marmar probably know what I'm talking about. There's a little creek there. The grass in the front on the street is four feet high. Who maintains that? Is greens meat supposed to cut that or are we gonna cut that? You know what I'm talking about? Speaker 2 00:15:24 There's, yes, it's a culvert bridge. County County maintains the culvert bridge. What Mr. Gross is referring to. There is a little brook there and where some private land backs up to the brook. And normally once a year we go in a large mower. Mow that back portion now. But unfortunately that's what the case is up in Water Street. Sometimes some of the neighbors forget about where the property line is and they have a tendency to dump in the brook area and that's part of the problem out there. So that's another area when once the engineering department finishes up out there, because we're in the process of doing engineering design for four of the streets in that neighborhood around the park, we were going to go out and survey all the property needs and balance so everybody in the neighborhood knows where their property line is. So there should be no discrepancies anymore. When they put things out in their backyard, they know not to put it in Brook basically. Speaker 6 00:16:28 Okay. Council show. We won't have to talk about that house on Second Street. Okay. So bought the property. Okay, that's good. You don't have to worry about, maybe we can sell him the other piece now. Okay. I'll send him up here to get you that. I need the parking lot painted there. The lines in the parking lot of Haywood parked. Yeah. Pants Speaker 2 00:16:53 Curtis. We'll take a look at that for the fall. But I do know I did check with Mr. Hinterstein. I had Mr. Jason check. I know he had asked about the seed out there in prior meetings. We plan on overseeing at the end of September. Speaker 6 00:17:08 Brainstorm had late, had a lot of rain know. But normally, typically you oversee Speaker 2 00:17:15 At the end of September. Speaker 6 00:17:17 Okay. But that in mind I must, there's a gentleman that works for DPW by the name of it. I don't know his first name. His name Mr. I call him Mr. Robinson. He's the one that cutting a piece of property on Second Street that belongs to the city and the one across the street, the other one off of. Right. I need you to make sure he gets his just due. I say this is the only guy that cuts that piece of property that cares about that piece of property. I mean we have people cut it, you know, and like I told Guy, there's people that cut grass and there's people that want to cut grass 'cause it's their job and they earn a paycheck. This is the guy. So if there's any way possible, please do not remove this guy. You know what I mean? He has to be cut. I mean this guy cuts Curtis. Speaker 2 00:18:01 I I will talk to Mr. Gu about it. Speaker 6 00:18:03 I don't Speaker 2 00:18:04 Troll who's on the wall on any time. Speaker 6 00:18:08 I know. I'm asking him if you don't. My father always said if you don't closed mouth, don't get sent. So if you don't ask. Okay. Thank you. Thank Mr. Gross. Any other comments or questions for the public Speaker 7 00:18:22 State? Speaker 6 00:18:25 Good evening counsel. Aithal Valley Lane. I've noticed that final change. This is g as in golf. That's a good thing. $84,000 is coming back to the conference. And I noticed a young lady who preceded me, she was asking about staying in the street or the street milled. And you pay now, well arose Valley Lane, this is a good start at $84,000, they gonna take $84,000 and do that new lane. In addition, there's a woman coming that's coming into the Cfer and that's under item S as in Sierra. That's another $75,000 all this money. And don't forget, you guys authorized three or four months ago a big number for road and so forth and so on. I'm just, we the neighbors only looking for a little sliver of the Ambrose Valley lane. That's it. You can do that in, in an hour. So my question, my question still is when are you guys going to get around to Ambrose Valley Lane, especially after charter and handover? Speaker 2 00:19:58 Well, I'll tell, I'll tell Mr. Akins maybe he and I'll have a three Monty card game and then whoever wins the winner goes out, gets paid or not Speaker 6 00:20:08 This Speaker 2 00:20:08 No, no. In all in all seriousness, you know, I, I don't wanna go out on a limb. We did take a look at it. There's only one tooth of the kiring that needs to be fixed out there. And I know Mr. Gasper was gonna try to squeeze it in this year. Speaker 6 00:20:25 Uhoh open, open your mouth. See that. Speaker 2 00:20:36 And I wanna let the council members on. The only reason why is because they did some corings out there. There's nothing of substantial significance. And that's why the road, although it doesn't look perfect out there, it's not in dire straits in some areas of town that really never had roads to begin with going back from the sixties and seventies when the neighborhoods were built. Well Speaker 6 00:20:59 How about, Speaker 2 00:21:00 So we will try to take a look at that too. Speaker 6 00:21:01 Okay. Speaker 2 00:21:01 Because there's a couple areas. So that decision will probably be made around the first week of October. Depend upon the seven or eight streets that the DW has to finish up. Speaker 6 00:21:12 Okay. Is there a committee that is formed the, Speaker 2 00:21:16 No, there's not a committee. This is left up to the engineers and the Public Works director. 'cause they're taking a look. We do triage, like on Battlefield. We try to take care of the worst streets first. That only seems sensible and some of the streets that where engineering has it because it requires engineering work. There's public works has, because it's just a two inch middle overload, it's a lot less work. Speaker 6 00:21:39 Okay. And some of it we Speaker 2 00:21:40 Have to contract Speaker 6 00:21:41 Out. Yeah. Hasn't not a problem. You guys contract all the time. Item number QPDW, what are they changing now over there? They haven't even as in reference to the academy, what are they changing? Are they changing the length of, or what? Speaker 5 00:22:02 No, this was for closing out the DPW canopy. We, they, they did a lot more work than they were originally contracted to. So we negotiated a, a settlement with them to, to the work that they did. Construction. Speaker 6 00:22:21 When you said they've done more work? Yes. They, they, Speaker 2 00:22:25 The project went a couple months longer than what was in the contract. Because what ended up happening, everybody knows we had an issue with the low bidder on this job and it went several months over the allotted timeframe for the, for the contract. So obviously this company had to babysit the go bidder out there and had people out there us oversee Speaker 6 00:22:49 Item K, Chilo. What kinds of services are we sh share with Edison Speaker 2 00:22:57 Is this brotherhood? This is a shared service agreement to reconstruct and rebuild Brotherhood Street on the Edison and Pisca border. Speaker 6 00:23:09 That's a local street, isn't it? Speaker 2 00:23:10 Yes it is. Yeah. Part a third of the street is in Edison Township and two thirds of some pi. Speaker 6 00:23:16 Would you say it's larger as Ambrose? Speaker 2 00:23:20 It's in way more worse shaped than Ambrose. I don't Speaker 6 00:23:23 Know, but that's not what I asked. I said it's, it's definitely no, I'm not disputing the condition. I'm just asking you, you best call, is that larger than Ambrose Valley Lake? Oh Speaker 2 00:23:35 Absolutely. Definitely. This is, this is probably gonna be a 1,000,005 job at Reese. Five. Speaker 6 00:23:45 A lot of drainage work out there, Speaker 0 00:23:47 So I have to Oh, see, so, so I have to pause you because you're over your three Speaker 6 00:23:52 Meds. Okay. But see that's, see that's the, the, the thing, a lot of the drainage, but as far as paving, you don't have to do any of that with Ambrose there. I can understand the costs. David, you're trying your best to plead your case. Speaker 0 00:24:06 Well we see, we heard you. Speaker 6 00:24:08 No, no, not weeks, years and years. Okay. Thank you. Speaker 0 00:24:11 You're welcome Mr. Akins. Okay, at this time I'd like a motion to adjourn. Motion Speaker 6 00:24:17 A John Speaker 0 00:24:18 Second. All in favor? Aye. A meetings adjourn.
