25-ZB-71V Giovani Patel - Residential Fencing 25-ZB-71V AI  00:01:47 – 00:04:55
Applicant Kinjai Patel (son, representing father Giovani) requested fencing installation for privacy and safety. Fence crosses easement, requiring execution of a memorandum of restriction establishing applicant responsibility for maintaining easement access and fence removal costs if township access needed. Staff also required utility mark out to ensure no underground damage. Application approved unanimously; resolution to be memorialized in December.
William MitterandoThank you, sir. I appreciate that. Let's start off with item number 7 25 dash ZB 71 v Giovanti Patel.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Is Ti Patel present?
Speaker 3Yes. Here.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Good evening. I need to swear you in. Could you raise your right hand? Do you swear the testimony you're about to give shall be the truth?
Speaker 3Yes.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Your name and address please?
Speaker 3My name is Il. Last name is Patel. Address, 36 Joyce Drive, Piscataway, New Jersey.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Could you spell your first name please? You can put your right name. Yes.
Speaker 3It's K-I-N-J-A-L.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Okay. And what is your relationship to Avante Patel?
Speaker 3He's my father.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Okay. And he's standing behind you?
Speaker 3Yes. He's
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Okay. Checking to make sure you do a good job.
Speaker 3I guess so.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Okay. Could you explain to the board what you're here for?
Speaker 3We wanted to request to do fencing around the house for privacy and safety and security reasons.
Laura Buckley (Clerk)Okay.
William MitterandoCheck
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)With me. Yep.
William MitterandoYeah. Jonathan, will you jump in here for a minute?
Laura Buckley (Clerk)Certainly.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Staff doesn't have any concerns about the setbacks for the fence. Save for the easement that it's going over. So, Ms. Patel, you're gonna have to enter a memorandum of restriction. So have you read the staff report?
Speaker 3I, Ms. Patel,
Laura Buckley (Clerk)It was mailed to you.
Speaker 3Okay.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)That's okay. So a memorandum of restriction is a, it's a document we're gonna have you sign. It basically says that if you are responsible for maintaining access to the easement area, if the town needs to access the easement area where the fence is located, you'll remove the fence, let the township have access to the land, and you will put the fence back up all at your own cost.
Speaker 3Okay.
William MitterandoYou okay with that?
Speaker 3Yes. That, yes.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)And we also wanna make sure that you get a utility mark out just to make sure that when you put the fence in, you're not damaging anything underground.
Speaker 3Okay.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Okay. Those, those are the only comments. Thank
William MitterandoYou. Thank you. Jonathan. Any other members of the board have any questions or comments hearing No. I'm gonna open it to the public. Anyone in the public have any comments or questions about this application?
Laura Buckley (Clerk)If you have any questions or comments, you could raise your hand on the bottom. No one chairman.
William MitterandoOkay. Close the public portion. I'd make a motion to approve this. Can I get a second? I'll second. Thank you. Call the roll.
Laura Buckley (Clerk)Mr. Weisman? Yes. Mr. Tillery? Yep. Yes. Thank you. Mr. Patel? Yes. Mr. Regio? Yes. Mr. Blo? Yes. Mr. Heka? Yes. Mr. Mitterando? Yes. And Chairman Cahill?
William MitterandoYes.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Ms. Patel, your application has been approved. We'll memorialize this in a written document at our meeting in December. We'll mail that document to you. You'll need that to get your permits.
Speaker 3Okay. Sounds good.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Good luck. Thank
William MitterandoYou. Thank you. Have good night now.
Speaker 3Thank you.
William MitterandoLet's move on to item number 10 25 dash ZB dash 67 V. Annette Leon Massek. You're muted, ma'am. There you go.
25-ZB-67V Annette Rio Massek - Vinyl Fence & Shed Variance 25-ZB-67V AI  00:05:08 – 00:21:32
Applicant requested variance for 6-foot vinyl fence and shed at corner property (Runyon Avenue and Hudson Street). Fence installed in good faith but violates 35-foot Hudson Street setback requirement. Staff proposed 17.5-foot setback; board negotiated compromise of 14 feet. Pre-existing 50-foot chain link fence in sight triangle must be removed or replaced with maximum 30-inch decorative fence. Applicant on fixed income expressed financial hardship; board granted 6-month compliance timeline with option to request extension. Shed approved to remain until substantially repaired or replaced. Application approved as amended with unanimous vote.
Speaker 5Yes, that's correct.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Okay. I need to swear you in. Ma'am, could you raise your right hand? Do you swear the testimony you're about to give should be the truth?
Speaker 5Yes.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)You can put your hand down and give us your name and address please.
Speaker 5My name is Annette Rio Massek. I live at the corner of Runyon Avenue in Hudson Street.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Thank you. Could you explain to the board why you're here?
Speaker 5I am here to request a variance for my vinyl fence, six foot vinyl fence I have and also my shed. I have both of those. I'm requesting variance for the fence was installed in good faith, is an excellent condition and creates no safety or visibility issues. I have over 50 feet of chain link fence from where my vinyl fence starts to the corner. Yeah. The fence provides privacy security for my grandchildren. My pets protects my allergy sensitive vegetable garden. Prior to the fence being installed, we had a break in and reported that. And since it's been up, you know, we have a much greater just sense of safety. I'm a ti I'm retired and single. So it's important for me to feel safe, understood. As well as my grandchildren.
William MitterandoUnderstood Ma'am. Jonathan, could you lend some insight to this?
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Yes. So I, I understand the fence was installed in good faith, but it's right up against the property line. So there's a 25, excuse me, a 35 foot setback required off of Hudson Street. So what we're requesting is that the fence be placed 17 and a half feet from the property line where 35 is required
Speaker 517 feet. The issue with, the issue with that is I have several thousand dollars worth of shrubbery and inside the fence. And it would create a very expensive financial burden on me. And I am on a fixed income at this point. To move the fence and to destroy all the landscaping would be a financial burden.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)You do have the option to have that be a four foot, 50% solid fence in that location instead of a six foot solid
Speaker 5Four foot,
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Four foot picket or four foot chain link.
Speaker 5The issue is deer can jump over. It wouldn't be protective with my grandchildren. And it's, I'm asking for your empathy to have this variance. It's been up over, over eight years at least.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Okay. And the, the the 35 foot requirement would be reduced to 17 and a half feet. So we're, we're trying to meet you halfway. And the, the f the chain link fence portion in, in front of it would have to get removed. 'cause that's in the site triangle of the intersection.
Speaker 5That chain link fence was there when I purchased the home. The,
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)I understand,
Speaker 5I mean, I purchased the home with the chain link fence there and that was, that was 33 years ago.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Some home inspectors don't pick up on zoning permits and zoning violations. So I, I understand you bought the home in that condition, but that fence is not permitted in that location.
Speaker 5So a chain link fence, even though you can see right through to two blocks almost to day street,
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)I can, I can, I can pull up the, the section of town code, but it it's in the site triangle of the intersection. It's right since you're right on the corner, it's the issue.
Speaker 5Okay. But you can see from that corner through the chain link fence almost to, you can see it to day street. Past day street.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Okay. I think that's the, the lesser, the lesser of the concerns. I I, I don't see a six foot solid fence going right up against the Hudson Street property line. It's just, it's too, it's too close. It, it really needs to be moved.
Speaker 5I mean, is there any other, it it, like I said, it is going to, I don't even know. I can't afford to move that fence and lose all of all my yard and the landscaping. I mean, I just can't afford to do that. I'm retired.
William MitterandoWe'd give you enough time. I mean, we we're not gonna make you go out and do it tomorrow. First of all, the, the, the, the, there's no fence or nothing allowed in that, that site car there. So even if you can see through chain link fence, there's nothing allowed there. If you move the fence in, wouldn't your shrubs be on the outside and be decorative to the outside of your property?
Speaker 5What,
William MitterandoI mean, you're not gonna lose the shrubs. We're not asking you to rip 'em up. But to move the fence in onto the other side of your shrubbery, it would lend to your landscape on the outside of the property. In my opinion,
Speaker 5I don't really have anything to say about that. I don't understand why the shrubbery would be outside of the, of the fence.
William MitterandoWell, I was under the impression you said you were gonna lose that shrubbery if you had to move the fence in. Well,
Speaker 5I'll u I'll lose it from my, my yard. You'll lose
William MitterandoIt from your site. You'll lose it from your backyard to look out. I can appreciate that. I'm just trying to work with you at this point. Can't we can't rubber stamp it and say it's okay 'cause it's not, there's a couple of violations we need to address, address.
Speaker 5I mean, Piscataway has given variances to several other fence issues, for instance, on Ballast Lane. Sunburst Lane, Quincy Street, harmony Street. I mean, I did the research. You've given variances to other properties and I'm asking you for that same consideration.
William MitterandoWell, we, we do give variances to a lot of different, each, each one's specific to their own, you know, situation. So Yeah, we do. And we, we were hoping to give one to you as well. It's just what you're, what you've got there now. And what we require is, is it's huge. It's right on the property line. You know, maybe we could go 20 feet instead of 17. That's an extra three feet of, of yard that you can keep.
Speaker 5So I would have to
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)You mean the other direction?
William MitterandoYeah, that's what I meant.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)So 14, 14 feet, I
William MitterandoMean 14. That's what, yeah. Is that okay with you Jonathan? It would make sense. Just the like meter halfway.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)I mean it's outside of the side triangle if that's Yeah. If you're comfortable with that.
William MitterandoI'm just trying to give her a little bit of something for the effort. That's all. I think we can work with her. But other than that I can't any offer any other solutions. Anyone else have any comments or,
Laura Buckley (Clerk)Or like I said, like Jonathan said, she could change it to a four foot picket.
William MitterandoRight.
Laura Buckley (Clerk)You know, that and to keep it in the same location and then once,
William MitterandoAnd you can keep the fence where it is, ma'am, it would, if you change the fence out to a four foot picket, you could keep the fence in the location, keep the landscaping where it is.
Speaker 5But that wouldn't, that wouldn't give me the safety, the privacy, the, my grandkids.
William MitterandoUnderstood. I understand.
Speaker 5So you're saying I have to move that vinyl six foot vinyl fence in 14 feet
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Off of Hudson? Yes. From where it is now.
Speaker 5And that's the best that you can do. While
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)They're required 35, 35 feet is required. So 14 feet is, it's more than, more than half of what's it's a compromise. Yeah.
Speaker 5And how long, I mean, I have no idea what the cost of this would be,
William MitterandoMa'am. I, we'll give you six months and you know what, at the end of six months, if you have an issue, you can come back before us and we, we could possibly extend it. Is that right Jim? Yes, that's correct. Okay. So when I, I mean literally you have the potential of waiting a year for the most part. We can give you six months wait till the soil is nice and soft. I'm not gonna make you dig now in November, December, January, if you can't address it in six months, you come back before us, we give you an additional six months. So we're basically giving you a year to either save up the finances or come up with a, a different alternative.
Speaker 5Okay.
William MitterandoAlright. So we're gonna, Jonathan, can we summarize, we're removing the, the chain link.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)We're moving the, we're remove the four foot chain link fence that is
William MitterandoIn the sight line,
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)In the sight line Southwest Property Corner. And
Speaker 5The, can I ask, can I ask a question? Sure. So I purchased that, that protects my property on the corner, right? From cars that can, God forbid, have an accident and come onto my property. It was there over 35 years ago when I purchased and it was here before then. So I don't understand how all of a sudden that that chain link fence is an issue.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)It it was, it was always, it was always that way. And unfortunately, and unfortunately when it was installed, it, it wasn't, it wasn't conforming with the town code.
Laura Buckley (Clerk)If, if you had called the town when you had the fence put in and asked for a permit, we would've known at that time and you wouldn't have wasted your time or your money.
Speaker 5Thi this, this was this part of the fence, the chain link fence was there 33 years ago when I purchased the property.
Laura Buckley (Clerk)Even if, if you came in when you changed the vinyl fence, if you came in, you said about eight years ago, if you came in then didn't know the chain link. Yeah.
Speaker 5To be quite honest with you, I, it was a chain link fence all around. I really had no idea that in order to put up a fence on one's own property, that you needed a permit to be Well yeah,
Laura Buckley (Clerk)You, you could have called and your fence company should have known. They should know better also. So if you came in at that time, you would've known the chain link wasn't where it's supposed to be at that time, and you wouldn't have been going through all this.
Speaker 5Okay. So the chain link fence, that's still up. Why? Since for at least 33 years when I purchased it, it was probably up before then. Why is the onus of it being moved and re on me?
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Because
William MitterandoYou're the property owner ma'am.
Speaker 5Right? But it was here before I was the property owner.
William MitterandoIt was illegal then. It, it shouldn't have been put up the fact that you're, you're no one caught it when you got the, purchased the house 33 years ago. That's on your inspector
Speaker 5And, and the inspector before that.
William MitterandoYou're right. Exactly.
Speaker 5And, and if I wanted to move the chain link fence in, is that a possibility?
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)The forefoot chain link fence in the front of your house? It would have to be, it would have to be almost in line with that retaining wall to the right of your front door. It, it, it's very, very far into your front yard. The, the code, the code picks up anything over 30 inches in height. So if you put up something that's decorative, that's lower, you could have something in that, a a a 30 inch fence in that area. That's something that would be a, a visual deterrent that would be permitted in a site triangle. So that's an option. I'm happy to, happy to work with you more on, on a creative solution like that.
Speaker 5And what's your name?
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)My name is Jonathan.
Speaker 5Jonathan what?
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Ms. Rahi. M-I-S-R-A-H-I I'm listed on the staff report.
Speaker 5Okay. Okay.
William MitterandoAny other members of the board have any questions or comments?
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Could I, could I just summarize again really quickly? Oh, please.
William MitterandoYeah.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)So the, the 50 foot chain link fence, we will work together to modify that in a way that it'll be acceptable in, in the, in the code. So we'll remove it and we'll potentially put something back up that's 30 inches or lower the vinyl fence. We'll be brought in 14 feet from the property line along Hudson Street, six foot solid vinyl fence. And I know there was another variance requested for the structure. I think what we could do is we can, if it's acceptable with the board, have the structure remain until it's time for it to be substantially repaired or replaced. And then at that time it's relocated to a conforming location. So that's, that would be the, the summary of what you'd be voting on for this application.
William MitterandoOkay. You understand that Annette?
Speaker 5Oh, I, I think so. The
William MitterandoShed can stay, the shed can stay where it's at until it either it becomes dilapidated or you, if you are gonna replace it with another shed, that's gonna have to be moved to a conforming spot in the yard. Okay. We'll we'll move the fence to 14 feet, the vinyl, and then you're gonna work with Jonathan about the situation with the 50 foot chain link fence. Okay. And it'll be done within six months. It'll be, and you have six months to do it. And again, if you guys can't resolve your issues or you have something else, come before us and we'll, we'll give you another six.
Speaker 5Okay?
William MitterandoOkay, ma'am. Alright. Any other members of the board? Any questions or comments? Hearing none, I'm gonna open it to the public. Anyone in the public have any comments or questions?
Laura Buckley (Clerk)No. One chairman.
William MitterandoOkay. I'm gonna close the public portion and I'd make a, a motion to approve this application with Jonathan's recommendations. Can I get a second? I a second please Call the roll.
Laura Buckley (Clerk)Mr. Weisman? Yes. Mr. Tillery? Yes. Mr. Patel? Yes. Mr. Reggio? Yes. Mr. Blanc? Yes. Mr. Heka? Yes. Mr. Mitterando? Yes. And Chairman Cahill?
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Yes. Your application as amended has been approved. We will memorialize it in a written document at our next meeting. We'll send that document to you. Good luck.
Laura Buckley (Clerk)Thank
William MitterandoYou. Good luck, ma'am. Have a good night. You
Laura Buckley (Clerk)Too.
25-ZB-77V Depeche Patel - Two-Story Home Addition 25-ZB-77V AI  00:21:32 – 00:28:33
Applicant proposed first and second story addition to rear of residence at 357 Metler Lane. Property has pre-existing nonconformities: lot narrower than zoning code requires; home exceeds side yard setbacks by approximately 2.5 feet on both sides. Architect Greg Wagga (remote participation) confirmed proposed additions do not exacerbate existing nonconformities. Staff required: removal of architectural pillars from right of way, 8-foot permanent right of way dedication to widen Metler Lane to master plan width, and installation of two 4-inch fiber optic conduits with pull box and lateral connections. Application approved unanimously with all staff conditions accepted.
William MitterandoLet's move on to item number 1125 dash ZB dash 77 v Depeche Patel.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Is Depeche Patel present? Yep. I need to swear you in. Could you raise your right hand? Do you swear the testimony you're about to give should be the truth? Yeah. Your name and address please.
Speaker 7Desh Patel. 3 57 Metler Lane.
Speaker 6Thank
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)You. Could you explain to the board why you're here?
Speaker 7Yeah. We wanna add on to the back of the house with a second and first story addition. Okay,
William MitterandoJonathan?
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Yeah, there's a couple of existing nonconformities with the property that we need to address.
Speaker 6The son of a gun. Hello?
Laura Buckley (Clerk)Hello.
Speaker 6Hi, this is Greg Wagga. I'm their architect. Hi Mr. Kinneally. How are you? You can't
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)See Mr. Wagg. How are you?
Speaker 6I can't get in somehow. I'm sorry. Well, because
Laura Buckley (Clerk)He, I apologize for the board. Well, because you didn't come in through the link. I didn't know you were coming on or I would've sent you your own link. I, I did. We'll make you a participant. Gimme one second.
Speaker 6Sure. I'm sorry. Thanks, Laura. I had, I thought, I thought join as a panelist.
Laura Buckley (Clerk)Yep. Hit that button and you'll, and we'll be able to see you. That's funny. Here he comes.
Speaker 6Okay. I'm in now. I apologize for the, we had a technical difficulty on our end and I'm in now. Fine.
Laura Buckley (Clerk)Put your camera on. You're good.
Speaker 6I'm good. Here we go. There
Laura Buckley (Clerk)He is. Great. There
Speaker 6We go. Thanks Lauren, as always. You're welcome. Good evening everyone. So I'm, well, I guess I'll have to get sworn in.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Could you raise your right hand? Do you swear the testimony you're about to give should be the truth?
Speaker 6I do.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Mr. Waqar has appeared as a, an architect expert before this board on prior occasions.
William MitterandoOkay. That's good.
Speaker 6Thank you Mr. Kinneally. Yes. So I do have items we can share if that'll make appease the board or we can just speak from memory. We do have an existing lot that is narrower than it should be in this specific zone. The current home exceeds the side yard setbacks by approximately two and a half feet on both left and right side. What we are looking to do is extend an addition above the existing left right side of the home, as well as add an addition off the rear. We took the, the zoning requirements in into great respectful concern and we kept the addition off the rear within the boundaries of the setbacks required for this specific zone. And therefore we're dealing with really two pre-existing non-conforming that are creating now that we're building above one on the right side. We're building, we're encroaching into that pre-existing non-conforming on the right side.
William MitterandoOkay. Mr. Gua, why don't, why don't we let, before you jumped on, I was asking our township expert, Jonathan Yes. If he could address some issues he had on the site impact. Sure. Lemme that now and then you can answer them one, one-on-one or
Speaker 6Not a problem. We'll go chairman. Absolutely. Thank
William MitterandoYou. Thank you Jonathan. Proceed, Jonathan. Perfect.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Thank you. Yes. So the existing nonconformities, i i, I do appreciate Mr. Wagga the consideration to all of our requirements and how the proposed additions don't exacerbate any, any of the existing nonconformities. There are a few items addressed in the staff report. Have you had a chance to review that
Speaker 6Or? I did not. I did not see any report. I'm sorry.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)That's all right. So there's built structures within the right of way, including architectural pillars. They have to be removed from the right of way. Okay. There's also a discrepancy in the right of way. There needs to be a permanent right of way dedication to widen metler to its master plan width. So it's gonna be approximately an eight foot strip of land.
Speaker 6Okay.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)That needs to be right of way dedication. Okay. And then we're considering that it's a substantial addition. We're gonna be requiring township wide, we're gonna be doing a installation of fiber optic conduit. So we're gonna require that there's going to be an installation of two fiber optic conduits that are four inch diameter conduits Understood.
Speaker 6Along the frontage. And will that be along the right of way, Jonathan?
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Yeah. So that's gonna be after,
Speaker 6Within that AFI right of way
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)After the dedication on your, your new property line along that way. Understood.
Speaker 6Understood.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)And then, you know, we'll, we'll provide details for you. We need a note and a call out added to the plans. And there also needs to be a lateral, a pull box and a lateral going off of those two conduits.
Speaker 6Understood. A location to be determined by the municipality or the, or the utility company.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)It's for township use, so it's not gonna be by the utility. Okay. You'll propose it and we will, we'll confirm it. So understood. We'll, yeah.
Speaker 6Okay. And the specifications will be provided on size and, and requirements.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Yes. I'll make a note to, I'll make a note to talk with Laura, get your contact information and all. I'll send it over tomorrow
Speaker 6Please. Thank you.
William MitterandoAlright, Mr. Guer, if you're okay with those issues that Jonathan brought up, we can proceed?
Speaker 6Yes.
William MitterandoOkay.
Speaker 6Yes.
William MitterandoAny
Laura Buckley (Clerk)Other I, sorry, I just emailed you guys the staff report. It was mailed to the applicant.
Speaker 6Okay. Thank you.
Laura Buckley (Clerk)Welcome. Sorry guys, go ahead.
William MitterandoNo, it's okay. Jonathan, you had no other issues with the site report. You addressed everything you needed to, correct?
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Correct.
William MitterandoOkay. Any other members of the board of any questions or comments for this application? Hearing none, I'm gonna open it to the public. Hi Laura,
Laura Buckley (Clerk)You can raise your hand if you'd like to speak. No one chairman.
William MitterandoOkay. Close the public portion. I'd make a motion to approve this application. Can I get a second? I'll second all the roll.
Laura Buckley (Clerk)Mr. Weisman? Yes. Mr. Tillery? Yes. Mr. Patel? Yes. Mr. Reiv? Yes. Mr. Blanc? Yes. Mr. Heka? Yes. Mr. Mitterando? Yes. And Chairman Cahill?
William MitterandoYes.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Your application's been approved. We'll memorialize it at our December meeting and mail a copy to you.

25-ZB-82V Barbara Bass - Chain Link to Vinyl Fence Replacement 25-ZB-82V AI  00:28:33 – 00:31:17
Applicant requested to replace existing chain link fence with vinyl fence at 8 Camron Road, fence located on easement. Same easement restrictions as Case 1, requiring memorandum of restriction. No utility mark out needed since posts replacing existing fence in same location. Staff had no other concerns. Resolution to be memorialized December 11, 2025 with memorialized document emailed December 12. Applicant inquired about timeline; informed permit cannot issue before resolution is memorialized. Application approved unanimously.
William MitterandoMove on to item number 1225 dash ZB dash 82 V. Barbara Base
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Is Ms. Base Present?
William MitterandoYou are muted, Barbara. Okay. There you
Speaker 8Go. I'm here.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Okay. I need to swear you in. Could you raise your right hand? Do you swear that the testimony you're about to give should be the truth?
Speaker 8Yes.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Your name and address please?
Speaker 8Barbara Bass. Eight Camron Road. Piscataway.
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)Thank you. Could you explain to the board why you're here?
Speaker 8Yes. I'd like to replace a chain link fence with a vinyl fence. The current fence is on the easement, and I'd like to put the vinyl fence where the current fence is.
William MitterandoI think Jonathan has to address the removal of replacement. Yes. Yeah.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Thank you. So were you on the call with the first applicant, Ms. Base?
Speaker 8Yes.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)Okay. So we're gonna have you enter a memorandum of restriction, just like, just like for them. Yep. So you, you understand what that entails and you agree to that? I do. Okay. And if it's in the same location, we won't have to worry about a mark out because the post will be in theory going in the same location. Okay. That, that's really, that's really all of the staff's
Speaker 8Concerns. Okay. Yeah. I just have one question. Sure.
William MitterandoMan.
Speaker 8You're saying you're memorializing everything in December. Do I have to wait until December? Because they said they could get this fence done for me in two weeks.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)So after the following meeting, we are gonna memorialize the resolution and then we will be sending you a copy of the memorandum of restriction, which you'll sign and we'll countersign. And then after that point, you can reapply for a permit.
Speaker 8Okay.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner)And then, and then you'll be able to install the fence. Okay?
Laura Buckley (Clerk)Yeah. You have to wait for the resolution. We can't, can do the, give you the permit without that. So it'll be
James Kinneally (Zoning Atty)December. Okay. The, the next meeting is December 11th.
Speaker 8Okay.
Laura Buckley (Clerk)I'll email it to you on the 12th.
Speaker 8Okay. And so I don't need to attend that meeting.

Speaker 8Perfect. Thank you.
William MitterandoOkay. Any other members of the board have any questions or comments for this application? Hearing none, I'm gonna open it to the public. Anyone on the public public have any comments or questions about this application?
