Speaker 2 Have a good night. You guys have
Speaker 0 You number 7 26 Dish zb. Dish 4 4 0 V. Steven Kiesling,
Speaker 4 The applicant present
Speaker 7 Here.
Speaker 4 Okay. I need to swear you in. Could you raise your right hand?
Speaker 7 Yes, sir. Do
Speaker 4 You swear that the testimony you're about to give should be the truth?
Speaker 7 Yes sir.
Speaker 4 Your name and address, please?
Speaker 7 Steve Kiesling. 1 0 1 Plainfield Avenue. Piscataway,
Speaker 4 Could you explain to the board what you'd like to do here?
Speaker 7 We would like to replace an existing fence along the back of our property, which is up against the neighbor behind us. And the variance application is to face it in to our yard instead of out away from our yard.
Speaker 4 And what is the reason for that?
Speaker 8 Well, 32 years ago, I'm, I'm his wife. My name is Marcy Keesling.
Speaker 4 Okay. I need to swear you and you can't testify until you're sworn. Do you swear that the testimony you're about to give should be the truth?
Speaker 8 I do.
Speaker 4 Thank you. Go ahead.
Speaker 8 32 years ago when we went in front of the board, we asked the board is there a preference as to which way we should face the fence? And the nice people on the board at that time said, you, you may face it any way you'd like. So we are respectfully requesting that we face the, the nice side in just along the back. And there is a reason for that. Our neighbor's property is approximately 42 inches above our ground level. So when you're looking from the street and from his backyard, you are really only seeing the top portion of the fence. So in my opinion, does it really make sense and does it matter?
Speaker 4 Mr. Chairman, you want to check in with Mr. Rahi on
Speaker 0 This? Yes. Yes I will. Mr. Msra. Mr. Mizrahi comments, please.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Yes. So we checked the 1996, the 1996 prior approval. And per township code offenses need to be finished side facing out. I understand there was also requirement for landscaping and that 1996 approval the board could consider replanting the, the landscaping. It's my understanding that that's no longer present. That could be an option or as it stands with the, the code, it's a finished side needs to be facing out.
Speaker 7 Well, we, we did have that. There's other fences that were constructed along aim along Ames Street. I believe that's the fence that you're referring to. And that was always finished side facing out. I have no problem with that 'cause it's along the street and it's gets a lot of visibility. So I understand that We did move it in from the property line and put landscaping as was requested 30 some odd years ago. Excuse me. But we are right now talking just about the other fence that goes along the back of the property, not along am street, which is right up against our neighbor's yard and his fence that goes along the back of his property. And as my wife said, yes, 30 years ago when we put that fence in, we were told by the, by the board, it's fine. Face it in, no problem with that. So it's just basically keeping the same, it's really what we're looking to do.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) And so long as the neighboring house has their privacy fence installed, they wouldn't be looking at the unfinished side of your fence because it is higher than yours. Is that correct?
Speaker 8 Their fence, because they are above us 42 inches. Their fence is actually the same height as ours.
Speaker 7 Well, it's just that their, their property grade at the property line is 42 inches higher than ours. It's kind of like a big shelf, if you will.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Right. So their fence is, their fence is blocking the unfinished side of your fence. Yeah, essentially. Okay. And I do know that with vinyl fence construction now, there isn't necessarily a finished face. This would be for a new red cedar fence that would have a finished side.
Speaker 8 So the, the new red cedar fence is a stockade along the back only. And so right now it is facing, the nice side is facing inside our property. I mean, I have no problems putting pickets on the first two sections of the fence along the back just to cover up the, the beams or whatever. I have no problems doing that for the first two sections that you would see from the street. You know, whatever makes it, you know, okay. With the township,
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) I, I think the board should consider that if the applicant's willing to finish any exposed si of any exposed faces of the fence. That could, that could work.
Speaker 0 I would agree. Anyone on the board have any questions at this time? Concerns or hearing none? I'd like to open this up to the public. Anyone in the public have any questions, concerns, or comments on this request? Laura?
Speaker 2 Sorry. I'd mute. Happy tonight. No one chairman.
Speaker 0 Thank you. I'd like to close the public portion, like to make a motion to accept this with the understanding that the lings will finish the sections that are exposed and seen by the public. Okay. Can I get a second?
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) I'll second.
Speaker 0 Thank you. Kalpesh roll call
Speaker 2 Please. Mr. Tillery? Yes. Mr. Patel? Yes. Mr. Regio? Yes. Mr. Black? Yes. Mr. Mitterando? Yes. And Chairman White Smith? Yes.
Speaker 4 Your application has been approved with the condition that you cover up any of the sections that are visible to the public. We'll memorialize this in a document at our next meeting and will mail that document to you. Good luck.
Speaker 2 Thank you.
Speaker 11 Excuse me, sir. I, I'm Pri Patel 20 Grace Place. I was trying to log in and speaking it, but my video was not working, so I just
Speaker 2 Tried. Okay. Yeah, you're, you're not even close to being up yet, but thank you. Okay.
Speaker 11 Okay. But yeah, just about to let you know. Thank
Speaker 2 You. Thank you. I saw, thank you.
Speaker 0 Item number 8 26 dash ZB dash 41 v Jalaine Fini
Speaker 4 Ghislaine.
Speaker 12 Yes. Yep, that's right. I Your name? Nope, that was it. Francis Cheney.
Speaker 4 I, I need to swear you in. Could you raise your right hand?
Speaker 12 Yes. Do you swear
Speaker 4 The testimony you're about to give should be the truth?
Speaker 12 Yes.
Speaker 4 Your name and address please. You
Speaker 12 Do. Jalaine Francisi, 1 94 Hillside Avenue, Piscataway, New Jersey.
Speaker 4 Thank you. Could you explain to the board why you're here?
Speaker 12 I'm here to request the ability to use the side yard, which is really the, the main yard of our home. We have a corner property where the majority of the property is at the side on Hillside Avenue, and we'd like to put up a gazebo on the side of the house where the remaining grass area is.
Speaker 0 Jonathan, I'm sorry, Jonathan, do you have any comments on this?
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Yes. So this is a undersized corner lot. The necessary front yard setback for a structure like this is 60 feet, six zero feet, proposed right now is 16 feet one six. So the structure is also 11 feet, six inches in height. Is that correct? That you're proposing?
Speaker 12 Yeah, if that's what was attached. I'm sorry. I'm in my car. I don't have the paperwork.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Okay. And then for the, the zone you're in, the accessory structures are allowed to be up to 18 feet in for a full size property in that zone. Have you given any consideration to a smaller gazebo? Shed not. Shed, excuse me, a, a shorter gazebo accessory structure?
Speaker 12 I have not, we corded like a cement pad to be able to put this in. Before I knew that I needed permission, permission and I spoke to all my neighbors, no one was opposing. You know, I think we like to spend time outside. We like to watch my son play soccer and this is the area where the grass is. So unfortunately, if I'm not able to put it here, I don't really have anywhere else that I could put it. In addition, there is another, I'm sorry, I'm on a call. I'm on a call. I'm sorry. I'm at the soccer field with my son who's practicing. Anyways, what I was saying is my neighbors have a deck at the back of their yard. So if they're outside on their deck and we're sitting where our table is currently, we're essentially like two fish in a fishbowl. Everybody just looking at each other because they're, they have that raised deck. So in this area, we plan to put some six foot trees to give a little bit more privacy. And this way we won't both be on exhibit to one another.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Okay. It's still gonna be very, very close to the, the right of way.
Speaker 12 Now can I ask is, is it the, the height you're concerned of obstruction? Because if the trees are there, wouldn't that impact visibility as well? Like it's so far set back from the corner.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Yeah. You're looking about 33, 3 5? Yeah, about 80 feet From the 80 feet from the corner. I don't think the site, the site triangle of the intersections at play. I didn't draw that onto this plan. Okay. The, so the foot, you, you, you poured a, you poured a footing in that proposed location on the plan you provided?
Speaker 12 Yes. I think it should be on there.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Yeah. I didn't, just confirming the extent of it. Chairman, this might be one to carry to a future meeting, have the applicant come in and we could potentially discuss a different, a different location or other options here instead of trying to figure it out on the,
Speaker 12 I just wanna know also that in the back, if you're standing at the front of the property, the back right corner is pitched down. So it's very like sloped. I, I don't know where else I, there would be nowhere else to put this.
Speaker 4 Ma'am, would you be willing to come in and talk to Mr. Ms. Rahi to explain this to him so that you two can go over it and see if he has any other ideas or whether or not he's in agreement with you?
Speaker 12 Okay. Are we just discussing the height? Because even if I went down a size in gazebo, I think the height is all pretty standard. Okay.
Speaker 4 We, we, we can't, we can't design this for you here. Okay. There are concerns that the board has. So we're gonna ask that you carry this matter and in the meantime meet with Mr. Rahi to go over his concerns and then come back to a, a meeting prob probably next month.
Speaker 12 Okay. And can you, we just specify what the concerns are so that I know what to prepare for? Yes,
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) He's
Speaker 4 Explained the concerns tonight. Those are the concerns. He has the side setback and the height. So you can explain this to him in person, show him the drawing point things out to him, which we can't do here. But the board has seven other applications to reach tonight. We can't design this for you.
Speaker 12 Okay.
Speaker 4 Okay. Thank you for
Speaker 0 Your
Speaker 4 Understanding. What are we looking at? We looking at October?
Speaker 2 No, but I could put her on for the September 24th meeting.
Speaker 4 Okay. Is September 24th acceptable?
Speaker 12 Sure, I'd be at the same soccer field. Okay. We'll be
Speaker 4 Here. Anybody here in the FINI application? It's gonna be carried to September 24th with no further notice by the applicant. The only notice you're getting is my announcement here tonight.
Speaker 12 Thank you. Will someone contact me about the meeting on site?
Speaker 4 Why don't you give Mr. MRA a call? Yes. Okay. And, and you guys can pick a convenient time.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Okay. I have your Thank you. I have your phone and I have your phone and email from your application. I could give you a call tomorrow.
Speaker 12 Okay, perfect. I can come right down if you're there tomorrow.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Okay. Thank you.
Speaker 12 Thank you so much. Bye-bye. Good evening.
Speaker 0 Item number 9 26 Dish zb, dish 44 v Douglas Boy Bolin
Speaker 4 Here. Douglas, Poland present?
Speaker 13 Yes.
Speaker 4 Do you swear? Do you, do you swear that the testimony you're about to give should be the truth?
Speaker 13 I do.
Speaker 4 Thank you. You can put your name down and tell us your name and address. Please
Speaker 1 Wait, just say And could you please swear me in as well? I'm his wife.
Speaker 4 Certainly please. Do you swear that the testimony you're about to give should be the truth?
Speaker 1 Yes.
Speaker 4 Okay. Your name please?
Speaker 1 My name's Kathy Bolin.
Speaker 4 Thank you. Could one of you explain to the board what you'd like to do here?
Speaker 13 Yes. We'd like to dormer out the rear second story of our house. We have a Cape Cod just to give us a little more room upstairs and then we'd like to add a second bathroom on the second floor. And the reason we're here is that the extra square footage puts us just slightly over our under roof property coverage, like by just a fraction of a percent.
Speaker 0 Jonathan, can you comment on this? Yes.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Yes. So there is a undersized lot as well as other non-conforming site features like a side porch as well as a shed. The existing building coverage on the site is 20.3. The proposed on the architectural plans brings it to, I believe it was 20 over 21%. So it are you, are you willing to, are you willing to bring the dormer in so it's in line with the, the current footprint of the house so that way you're not creating any new building coverage?
Speaker 13 I mean the, we we, if we did that, we would have to get the architect to redraw the plans. We would've, yeah. We, we didn't ask him to do that. He just, you know, we asked him for a design and he drew it up that way. Right. I mean, we're just trying to, like, we have our, like I said, we have a small house. We're just trying to increase our, our living space a little bit.
Speaker 1 Yeah. We, we've been in this house since 1989. The porches and the cement slab slab for the shed were here when we bought the house. We didn't do any of that.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Okay. Just wanna pull your circle. Yeah, it's a two foot, it's a two foot cantilever off of the rear, which is what's contributing to the increase in the building coverage. So that would impact the, that would impact the, the floor plan, like you're saying? Yes. 'cause otherwise, otherwise it'd be a 21.6% building coverage on a undersized lot. So that's, I I that's, but
Speaker 1 I'm sorry. I guess I don't understand. Since we're not moving the foundation of the house, it's just like a, a Porsche roof hanging over. I, I guess I don't understand my, I, my apologies.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Oh, the way, the way we calculate it is the, the, the footprint of the, the footprint of the building up to 18 inches for a roof overhang. And then everything over that gets counted towards the building coverage. So if you were to kind of move the, the wall in it would help you reduce that number and get you closer or stay at the 20.3% building coverage that you're currently at. And then, and then the other considerations, like the side porch that's been there for decades, that hasn't been bothering anybody or, you know, the shed being in the same, in the same spot that's slightly non-conforming or are smaller, smaller issues. So if there's an openness for the getting down on the building coverage, I think that's, I think that's something to, to consider. But that, those are my, those are my comments, chairman.
Speaker 0 Thank you. So normally we allow 20 up to 20%. This is gonna increase it, it sounds like a small number, but it, it, it can have an impact.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) 21.6% proposed for this lot. For this lot. That's 81 81 square feet. So they have 20% equals 1000 square feet. Their proposed for footprint is 1081.
Speaker 0 So is there any way that you can hold that back the two feet so it does align? 'cause then this is an easier request to handle. It's still over the 20%. And you, you said that you'd have to go back to your architect, I guess that's
Speaker 13 What Yes, we'd have to go back to the architect and have to have him change it.
Speaker 1 So if we agree to just go not, not no overhang. No overhang whatsoever, we would be okay. Or would it have to be
Speaker 0 Revisit? I i I could, I could recommend that to the board based on what our ex expert's saying. Right. Jonathan, you're good with that?
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Yeah. Not, not to create any additional building coverage over what's currently on site.
Speaker 1 Okay. We can, we can do that. Because you're saying if we, if we don't do that, it's not gonna get approved for us to dormer it out.
Speaker 0 Right. That's what's being said. Right,
Speaker 1 Right. Okay. So we'll have to do that.
Speaker 13 Yeah. So we'll have, we'll have, yes. Okay. So we'll have to go back to the architect and have him change the plans a little bit.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Al alternatively, you could remove the shed to get your building coverage down, but then you would be without a shed.
Speaker 1 Right. And we don't have a garage, so Yeah. We, we need this shed.
Speaker 0 Yeah, Mr. Kinneally. Okay. Can we pass this on condition that they make the changes and check them out with the Yes. We
Speaker 4 Can go forward with the assumption that they are going to comply with the building coverage and not, not comply because they're already over but not exacerbate it in any way. Right.
Speaker 1 Okay.
Speaker 4 They would have to supply revised plans from the architect showing that they're gonna comply, but that can be a condition of approval.
Speaker 1 Okay. Okay.
Speaker 0 Okay. Anyone on the board have any questions, comments, or concerns? Hearing none, I'd like to open this up to the public. Anyone in the public have any questions, comments, or concerns?
Speaker 2 No. One. Chairman.
Speaker 0 Thank you. Laura. I'd like to close the public portion and make a motion that we accept this with the recommended change and agreed upon change. Can I get a second?
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) A
Speaker 0 Second. Thank you. Kalpesh roll call please.
Speaker 2 Mr. Tillery? Yes. Mr. Patel? Yes. Mr. Regie? Yes. Mr. Bla? Yes. Mr. Mitterando? Yes. And Chairman Weisman?
Speaker 0 Yes.
Speaker 4 Your application as amended has been approved. We will memorialize this in a written document at our next meeting. We'll send that document to you.
Speaker 1 Okay. Thank you so much.
Speaker 0 You're welcome. Have a good night.
Speaker 1 You all too. Thank you. Bye-bye.
Speaker 0 Item number 10 26 dash ZB dash 46 v. Theresa Billingsley
Speaker 2 Billingsley.
Speaker 4 Is Theresa Billingsley present?
Speaker 16 Yes, we are present. Okay. I need to, I'm not that, I'm not that comfortable with this computer. Okay, here we go. Yeah, that's okay. It's Lloyd and Theresa Billingsley.
Speaker 4 Are, are you both gonna be testifying tonight?
Speaker 16 Yes. Yes.
Speaker 4 Okay. I need to swear both of you in. Could you each raise your right hand?
Speaker 16 Yes.
Speaker 4 Do you swear that the testimony you're about to give should be the truth?
Speaker 16 Yes. Yes.
Speaker 4 Thank you. One at a time. You put your hands down. Okay. One at a time. Give us your name and address please.
Speaker 16 Theresa Billingsley. 10 Sycamore Lane, Piscataway, New Jersey.
Speaker 17 Lloyd Billingsley, 10 Sycamore Lane, Piscataway, New Jersey.
Speaker 4 Thank you. Could one of you explain what you'd like to do here?
Speaker 16 We'd like to put a fence in the front, like the front part of our property on either side of the house and it's over municipal easement.
Speaker 4 And you understand that if the board votes to approve this, you would be responsible to remove the fence or the patio if at any point access to the easement is required?
Speaker 16 Yes. Yes.
Speaker 4 And you're, you would sign a document that agrees to that?
Speaker 16 Yes. Yes.
Speaker 4 Okay. I'm not sure if Mr. Rahi has any other issues.
Speaker 0 Mr. Rahi,
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) I just had a quick question about the shed. So when you came in on the survey, it appears that your shed is over your property line onto your neighbor's yard. What condition is the shed in right now?
Speaker 16 It's in good condition.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Okay. So I, I think I'd recommend a condition of the application if it moves forward, if the shed needs to be replaced, it needs to be relocated in a conforming location.
Speaker 16 Okay. Okay.
Speaker 0 That would require getting a permit and yes. Lining it with the township and everything. We're fine. That's, that's good. Okay. Anyone on the board have any questions, concerns, or comments? Uhrin? No. I'd like to open up to the board, to the public. Anyone in the public have any questions, concerns, or comments on this request?
Speaker 2 No. One Chairman,
Speaker 0 I'd like to close the public portion and make a motion that we approve this request. Can I get a second?
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) I'll second.
Speaker 0 Thank you. Kalpesh roll call please.
Speaker 2 Mr. Tillery? Yes. Mr. Patel? Yes. Mr. Regio? Yes. Mr. Blo? Yes. Mr. Mitterando? Yes. And Chairman Weisman?
Speaker 0 Yes.
Speaker 4 Your application's been approved. We'll memorialize this in a written document at our next meeting and we'll send that document to you. Good luck.
Speaker 2 Thank you.
Speaker 0 Thank you. Have a good night.
Speaker 2 Goodnight. Goodnight.
Speaker 0 Item number 1126 dash ZB dash 47 V. David Lerner.
Speaker 2 Okay, we don't have to.
Speaker 4 Is David Lerner present?
Speaker 18 I am present.
Speaker 4 I need to swear you in. Sir, could you raise your right hand? We
Speaker 2 Gonna get
Speaker 4 Outta here. Do you swear that the testimony you're about to give should be the truth? Oh
Speaker 18 Wait, yes.
Speaker 4 Your name and address please?
Speaker 18 David Lerner. 9 9 8 Gates Avenue.
Speaker 4 Mr. Lerner, could you explain to the board while you're here?
Speaker 18 Yes. We're going to enlarge our deck six feet along the side of our house and the shed was only two and a half feet away from the property line. We wanna get a variance to leave it where it's
Speaker 0 Okay, John?
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Yes. So another reason why the applicant's here. It's an under, it's an undersized corner lot. I just wanna ask you, sir, really quickly, the shed, you the shed is in good condition?
Speaker 18 Yes.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Okay. So just like the last application, I'd recommend that if it needs to be replaced or repaired, it would need to take out a new permit to be located in a conforming location. I also want to ask the area of expansion. You're not proposing to enlarge the deck towards the neighboring property line. You're going along the length of your house parallel to Blue Ridge Avenue,
Speaker 18 Correct? The same depth that it always was, just moving to the right six feet.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Okay. And the privacy fence for nine 80 Gates Avenue, is that still, is that still up and in good shape?
Speaker 18 Yes.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Okay. That is all of my, all my comments, questions. Thank you.
Speaker 0 You are okay with this, right? Do you ex Yes. I just wanna make sure we're clear. Okay, good. Thank you. John. Anyone on on the board have any questions, concerns, or comments on this request? Hearing none, I'd like to open this up to the public. Anyone in the public have any questions, concerns, or comments?
Speaker 2 No. Chairman, I'd
Speaker 0 Like to close the public portion. I make a motion that we approve this request. Can I get a second? I second. Thank you.
Speaker 2 Oh, I'm taking Roddy on that one. We're changing it up.
Speaker 0 Thank you.
Speaker 18 Goodnight.
Speaker 0 Laura. Sorry,
Speaker 2 Sorry. Kalpesh. Mr. Tillery. No worries. Yes. Mr. Patel? Yes. Mr. Regio? Yes. Mr. Blo? Yes. Mr. Mitterando? Yes. And Chairman?
Speaker 0 Yes.
Speaker 4 Your application's been approved. We'll memorialize this in a written document at our next meeting and we'll send that document to you. Good luck. Thank
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) You.
Speaker 0 Goodnight. Have a good night. Goodnight. Item number 1226, dish ZB 48 B. PRIs Patel.
Speaker 11 Yes.
Speaker 4 Patel, I need to swear you in. Could you raise your right hand? Do you swear the testimony you're about to give should be the truth?
Speaker 11 Yes.
Speaker 4 Your name and address please.
Speaker 11 My name is PRIs Patel. Address is 20 Grace Place. Peace Cutaway.
Speaker 4 Could you explain to the board why you're here?
Speaker 11 Yes. My backyard, which is falls on a river road and it's basically a draining lot of soil. And my fence got eroded since couple of year and I replace like some fraction of it, but I wanna raise the fence little bit of one feet seven each, so that way the basically water flows away and then whatever remaining soil is there, it'll stay there rather than damaging. And it's, it's basically going in a river road side drainage system, which is couple of years happening. So I wanna stop that. So that's why I'm asking for the variance and the height.
Speaker 0 Okay, Jonathan?
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Yes. So just to, just to clarify for the board, the, the blocks that you have installed underneath the fence, how it's in, how it's currently in place on site right now, those are dry laid, so there's no cement or mortar in between those bricks?
Speaker 11 No, no. It's like if you, if I kick on on that one, it'll fall right there.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Okay. That, that in itself is part of the, part of the problem. And the, the posts are, the fence post is placed inside the concrete block and you, you back filled it with liquid, concrete?
Speaker 11 Yes. The cement. Cement, yeah. Liquid. Concrete.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Okay. And is there, is there an additional underground footing or is that only the, only the above ground blocks?
Speaker 11 No, no, no. It's a 10 feet pole we use. So it's, it's a two and a half feet in the ground.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Okay. Have you given any consideration to core logs, hay, bales, bioswales, any sort of
Speaker 11 Yeah, I, I, I, I, we, yeah, we, we, we were like, look at the, those options and, and you as you send the note and as I talked to you right, basically those, I'm looking for the permanent solution and that's what I see the long run without, you know, spending a lot of stuff, money in the maintenance. And that's where, and my, my neighbor has a similar, he's a 16 Grace place has a similar basically wall and fence on top of that written wall and, and C series is like 25 years. And it's basically, it, it's a similar land I think and me may have done earlier, but I'm not sure when he did. But I'm trying to see my solution. I'm seeking my solution to block the soil and basically it get me a permanent solution for that.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) I, I understand that it, it would be probably more appealing to, to try to find a solution that does not raise the height of the fence. So it's one and a half feet with a six foot fence creating a seven and a half foot barrier. So I think if there's a way we could get the fence back to six feet in height instead of seven and a half feet and we can figure something out on the, on the ground to, to make this a permanent solution to your, your, your issue
Speaker 0 Mr. Patel. Yes. Instead of pursuing this back and forth here, can we table this and you come in and meet with Jonathan to come over?
Speaker 11 Yes.
Speaker 0 Yeah. Okay. And so that we can all be on the same page.
Speaker 11 Okay.
Speaker 0 Jonathan, does that work
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Works for me?
Speaker 4 Laura, can we put this on for the 24th as well?
Speaker 11 Yes.
Speaker 4 Okay. So Mr. Patel, are you available on the 24th and you'll meet in the next two weeks?
Speaker 11 Yes.
Speaker 4 Okay. Anybody here on the Prh Patel 20 Grace Place application? It's gonna be carried to September 24th with no further notice by the applicant. The only notice you're receiving is my announcement here tonight. Thank you Mr. Patel. Thank
Speaker 11 You. Yeah, no problem. Thanks. Thank you.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Reach out tomorrow.
Speaker 11 Yeah.
Speaker 0 Terrific. Item number 13 26 6 dash ZB dash 49 V Ke Yra Yasu Humara Ro Baron.
Speaker 19 Hello.
Speaker 4 Hello.
Speaker 0 How you doing? I need
Speaker 19 To swear. I'm you in Jeff party Justice Street.
Speaker 11 Whoa.
Speaker 4 Sorry, I need to swear you in. Could you raise your right hand? Do you swear the testimony you're about to give should be the truth?
Speaker 19 Yes.
Speaker 4 Your name and address please?
Speaker 19 Ura Guber, far Justice Street. Piscataway.
Speaker 4 Thank you. Could you explain to the board why you're here?
Speaker 19 I bought a lot. This 40 Justice Street, this is 96 by 2 65 is the dimension. It's four feet less wider. I think it's a hundred is minimum lot size. This lot has 96. So we are looking to construct a new house in this lot. So we are looking for an variance to be able to construct the house. That's the application.
Speaker 4 And Mr. Rahi has a couple of points he wants to discuss, which you have agreed to respond to. Go ahead, Mr. Ms. Hi
Speaker 0 Jonathan.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Thank you. So yes, this is otherwise conforming new single family home on an undersized lot. I saw you, you did provide copies of the soil test report that we requested. Thank you for that. The fiber optic infrastructure requirements along Justice Street. Do you agree to show the line work, the plan notation and the construction detail as it's laid out in the staff report?
Speaker 19 Yes. Yes. Okay.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) And when you do submit, can you, can you clarify on the call right now what the proposed building height is? There was a differing number between your engineering and architectural drawings,
Speaker 19 Correct? We saw the note there is 30 engineering plan says 34.67. Architecture plan says 34. So we will work with the engineer to update the plan to make sure both stays the same size, same height, 34.67. So there's a 0.67 fee difference that we will fix it when we release and submit that plan.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Okay. Okay. And then there was some comment on the interior architectural elements like the roof deck and the skylights that kind of caused the roof to be very, very high. Is that something you, you want to speak on?
Speaker 19 Yes. So yeah, so we will work with the architect to make sure the height does not exceed the limits set by the township. So we'll review the height and we'll, we'll check township limit and we'll make sure it stays within the limit. If you have reduced, we'll reduce.
Jonathan Rahi (Planner) Okay? Yeah. For this, for this zone, it's 35 feet. Okay. Or code.
Speaker 19 We'll make sure it's 35 feet or less when we resubmitted it.
